About

Who writes this

My name is Djean Moraes. I am a Brazilian freelancer who has worked in design and digital marketing for years, and I have been around the affiliate industry for about a decade. I am self-taught in most of what I do, and for the last few years my main interest has been how AI changes the way small operators can do serious research work.

This site is a one-person operation. Every page is researched, written and checked by me.

What I am not

I am not a doctor, a nutritionist, a pharmacist or a scientist. I have no clinical training. Nothing here is medical advice and I am not qualified to give any.

I also do not test the products I write about. I have not swallowed a single capsule of anything reviewed on this site, and I will say so on every page where a product appears. When that changes — when I buy something and use it — I will say that too, with dates and photographs.

What I actually do

Read labels carefully. Open the studies a label cites and check whether they say what the label implies. Redo the standardisation arithmetic that turns "300 mg of extract at 2%" into "6 mg of the compound". Compare that number to the dose used in human trials. Publish both, with sources, including when the comparison is unflattering to a product I earn money from.

That is a narrow skill. It is also, as far as I can tell, unoccupied ground — because it is tedious, it does not scale, and it regularly produces conclusions that are bad for business.

How this is funded

Affiliate commissions. If you follow a link from this site to a store and buy something, I may earn a percentage at no additional cost to you. That relationship is disclosed at the top of every page and again next to every link.

It creates an obvious conflict of interest, and I will not pretend otherwise. My answer to it is procedural rather than rhetorical: every factual claim here carries a source you can open and check yourself, and the method that governs what gets published is written down in public. If I ever soften a finding because it costs me money, the sources will still be there for you to catch me with.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, I want to know, and I will fix it and say what changed. Reach me at @djeanmoraes on LinkedIn or Instagram.

Use of AI

I use AI tools for research, drafting and organisation. Every factual claim — every dose, every study, every number — is verified by me against a primary source before it is published. The tools help me read more and faster; they do not decide what is true, and they do not sign anything. I do.
